We are a small group of people who have a passion for modelling the railways on New South Wales in N scale. We are formed of a range of ages from or 20s to our 80s and a range of skill levels from beginner to expert. We are a community where like-minded individuals can come together to create amazing models and build relationships. Check out our pages to learn more…
The NSW N Scale Group was formed in 1988 following discussions at an exhibition between various modellers who had, firstly an interest in modelling to “N” scale of 1:160 and secondly were keen to model NSW outline. At that time there was almost no commercially made rolling stock readily available (and is still scarce for some models). As a result of the group being formed, several modellers with good modelling skills and know-how created “Cottage Industries” to build various models or kits for sale to modellers, usually through a group such as ours.
Moruya is based on a fictional railway line located on the South Coast of NSW.
